18 dias !!!!!!!!!!
Foi o tempo que levei do 1º teste de Inglês, até a entrega de toda a documentação, incluindo o tal do teste de tuberculina, que não encontrava pois aqui pelas minhas bandas é chamado de “Mantoux”, chic né?
09 de outubro foi o dia que fiz a provinha da Universidade de Michigan, depois conversei em inglês com uma menina super atenciosa: Carol***. Aí optei pela agência Experimento (melhor custo-benefícios)
15 de outubro, foi o dia em que minha Interviewer Fernanda me mandou as orientações por email e os references forms. Também comecei aqui a alimentar as informações no site
19 de outubro foi o dia que fui fazer o tuberculin-test-Mantoux-PPD e Autenticar umas cópias
22 de outubro foi o dia que fiz o teste online de Inglês da APIA. Chegando em casa gravei o vídeo que “upei” no dia seguinte pois já estava com sono!!!!
23 de outubro fui ver o resultado do PPD
24 de outubro foi o dia que levei o medical form pro meu médico carimbar
27 de outubro levei toda documentação para a Experimento

HOST FAMILY LETTER
Estou postando aqui minha Host Family Letter, pois muitas de nós temos dificuldades em COMEÇAR (não digo apresentação…) a carta, eu por exemplo, não conseguia começá-la nem em português, então… Resolvi começar em inglês mesmo e não é que deslanchou?
É claro que algumas preposições e advérbios temporais me fugiram da memória pois saí da escola há…. ah, deixa pra lá! =)
Aqui vai, inspirem-se mas cuidado para não copiar “sem querer”
Hello Dear Host Family!
My name is Mirella, I´m 26 years old and I live with my parents, my dog Pingo (that it´s part of the family) my older sister, my brother-in-law, and his sun Igor (my first nephew). We are a really big and happy family, that´s not problem cause we live in a big house, in the biggest city of Brazil, São Paulo! I need to talk that I love so much my city, including the chaotic traffic (where we can relax, listening to the radio), there are problems like every big city, but either there are so much beautifull things to see and to do! I like to go to the movies, some concerts (I love music), shopping with my sister, take a trip in Ibirapuera´s Park, or Ipiranga´s Garden in the sunny days! I like to go to Japaneses, Italians and Germans restaurants, moreover, I love so much cooking, and making new things in our kitchen! In the weekends when my boyfriend comes (he lives in another city) we use to travel to a near beach, Praia Grande, that´s my second “home”. Actually
I´m a teacher, working at the Preschool (ages 2 years and 5 months to 3 years) in a Jewish School (despite I´m catholic), very nice! The school is inside a “Club” with a lot of threes, and birds, we have a lake with turtles and some carp, in the sunny days we can go to the children´s pool, we can do some activities at the opened court, the children like the “mirror class” like the ballet´s room and the playground, what turns my job very dynamic and entertaining! We are two teachers for 14 children, that makes our job a little hard, but the reward is the smiles in their (and our) faces! I´m working with education since 2002, when I started my graduation in Pedagogy, I decide to do this course cause I love so much children, and over the years I learned not just to love, but, understanding and respecting their singular characteristics, each one is unique! While I was in the university (2002), I needed to gain more money, cause I was working at school, just half period, so I start to Babysitting at weekends, a friend introduced me one “Newmom” when her baby (Julia) was 3 months, and I start to help her until 2005. After this, Julia (now 7) and me became very good friends, I´m just like an older sister to her, and now, Angela (mom) had another little girl, Luiza, born in April and so here I am helping to take care Luiza too! I think that my experiences bring me so much good things, cause in my family theresn´t babies (until Igor born), and now I may help my sister to take care him! I decide to do this program cause it will be a great opportunity to improve my English, making things that I really love (taking care and playing with children), in a new country, in a new family, learning about a new culture and being part of the family! And increasing my knowledge, when I came back to Brazil, I´ll be able to start my Master´s Degree, and in a distant future have my own School…
You as a family may sure that I´m a lovely person, very funny, but responsible… its true, you won´t believe that I´m 26 years old! I´m very outgoing, talking, energetic, and there´s so much more that you have to know about me, feel free to call me!
