O outro antes de eu postar sobre o "dating scenario" nos EUA

"Intoxicated by Chemistry"

Mar 22

Ever happened with you... you hear your friends saying that you did something that they "never pictured" you doing? That they never DREAMED that you could do? Something so hard to believe that they toked pics or recorded? If yes, I would guess that in most of the cases you were influenced by some chemical stuff when you did i.e alcohol / drugs. Am I THAT wrong? I don't think so...

Well... is the exact same thing about Chemistry (not the website) in the "date scenario"...

We do things that we've never imagine that we could do, we ignore all the other factors, when we are intoxicated by the "chemistry". And the thing that I hate most about the chemistry is that we don't work it out, or is there or isn't! That's so unfair...

How many times have you date the perfect person, but felt that "something is missing", THAT something is the chemistry, that we all want to find but we never realize that we are looking for. Because we are often focused on "stability" "reliability" and all the other important things that we should be caring about... You think that it's ok and that's worthy to "live the moment" then you got stucked in a guilty pattern, wasting yours and someone else's time. Struggling and waiting for the end to come, but not actually ending because "besides the lack of sparks and fireworks" things are perfect!

No this is not the worst thing, the worst thing is when the chemistry is there, and period. Just chemistry, nothing else, and you need to work all the other issues out to make it work (but shouldn't be unhealthy have chemistry as a foundation of a "prospective relationship"?) these are just thoughts since we actually DON'T try to make anything work because we are SO INTOXICATED that is impossible to see that isn't working.

Thanks to the time, this is not a big deal! Just like alcohol and all the other drugs the effects don't last forever... That's what we use to call moral hangover but it's also a whole new post to the journal...
